Sabrina is a triple deck, modern passenger boat situated on the River Severn in Shrewsbury, capable of carrying 60 passengers in comfort with a retractable roof and sides on the top deck.
We are an independent business, based in Shropshire. Our focus is to provide a first-class service to both day and evening passengers on our river cruise experiences. Pleasant hour on the River Severn (Welsh Bridge down to English Bridge and back). Great views, excellent cream/jam/scone snack and a very amusing and informative commentary from the “captain”. An excellent mid-afternoon relaxing break after walking through the town.
Excellent organisation, we booked and first great point of note was that pre-bookings were called on to the boat first and had reserved seating. Such a great touch given the long queue. The at-table drinks service was another pleasant surprise and our order was taken promptly. First leg of the journey we were able to take in the lovely scenery then en route back we were treated to a humorous but very knowledgeable commentary on the buildings of note we passed on the return leg by the skipper Chris. Excellent value for money, a great way to take in a taster of Shrewsbury and lovely little excursion to add some variety to a day out. Highly recommended.
My parents booked Sabrina for their 50th anniversary and we had the best time. The staff are exceptional, bending over backwards to accommodate us and look after us. Their attention to detail is second to none, thinking on their feet to make sure every individual is making the most of the cruise, and in the current climate of apathetic customer service in most quarters, this was one big breath of fresh air. Thankyou to ALL the staff on board, you were amazing!
Food (chili con carne) was really tasty, and had many people going back for seconds.
The boat itself is a lovely moderate sized river cruiser with plenty of seating up top to enjoy the scenic views.
I can’t recommend this enough. Whether taking one of the daily public cruises, or booking for a private event like us, you will not be let down by the team at Sabrina.
The staff on the boat were very friendly and welcoming. Ordering drinks was very quick and easy. The price of drinks was also very reasonable. The historical talk was fantastic and very informative. Overall I really enjoyed this boat trip and would highly recommend. Great staff and great service.
I took a group of 52 members on the Sabrina boat trip in June and we all had a excellent experience. Chris the helmsman gave us an interesting and very amusing commentary, he made sure we all enjoyed ourselves and included in the ticket price was tea, coffee and biscuits. Some of my group are not as able as others, but the crew made sure everyone boarded safely and with ease. This trip was part of one of Sabrina boats packages and is outstanding value. Many of my group have asked me to organise another tour. Very recommended.
