Yes. Children are welcome to attend your private party.
No, but if you have decorations that you would like putting up we can do that for you.
No. We have a fully stocked bar onboard with competitive prices and our Chef who can prepare food to suit your special requirements/budget.
We will cruise in all but the most exceptional circumstances. If high river levels prevent us from sailing during your event, we will refund your ticket or postpone it to another day.
We require a non-refundable 25% deposit to reserve a date for a private event, with the balance payable 21 days before the event. You can book tickets for our day trips here or alternatively please call the office on 01743 369 741 to check availability and make payment.
Yes. The minimum number of guests required to hire the boat is 20, the maximum capacity of the boat is 60. This will depend on current government guidance
If the Sabrina Boat cancels a trip you will receive a full refund.
If you miss the trip you have booked onto, we will make every effort to find you a place on board a later trip although, this does depend on availability.

Access onto the Sabrina Boat is a light gradient ramp although this can get steep during the height of summer as the river gets lower. Access is then level onto our middle deck where we can accommodate up to 3 wheelchairs. Access to our upper & lower deck is via 5 steps each. Please note we do not have disabled toilets on board and toilets are located in the lower deck.
Parking is available along Victoria Avenue (Pay and display) (SY1 1HH) with the nearest disabled parking being in Frankwell short & long stay located over the opposite side of the river (SY3 8HQ). For more information on parking and our Park & Ride service please see below.

This is the largest car park located on the opposite side of the river and is regularly used by visitors attending a show at Theatre Severn. The car park is floodlit ideal for our evening cruises & is all ground parking.
Costs 70p per hour, maximum of £5.60 per day
Sundays and Public/Bank Holidays are free!
Coach
Frankwell Car Park has 5 coach bays and is the main coach park for Shrewsbury and for visiting both the Sabrina Boat & Shrewsbury Town Centre.

Shrewsbury operates three park and ride sites which operate Monday to Saturday every 20 minutes from 7.20am till 6.20pm

Families are welcome to join our Tuesday evening cruise which leaves every Tuesday at 7pm throughout the whole season as well as our ghost cruise which leaves every Monday night at 7pm throughout October. Our other themed evenings are adult only events.
We do not have any age restrictions although all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes. Our groups rate is available for 20+ persons and includes complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.
We offer hot, cold, alcoholic drinks and snacks on board all available through table service on every journey.
Yes. We welcome well-behaved dogs on either our middle or top deck. We can also provide a bowl of water for thirsty dogs if required. Find out more about dog friendly Shrewsbury.
Yes. We run trips in rain or shine! It’s only when the river is flooded that we are unable to run. Please check here to see if we are running today.
No. Our top deck has a roof, and our middle and lower decks are fully enclosed. If it is a cold day, we can close the sides on our top deck and use onboard heaters to warm things up. We also have blankets available, just ask a member of the crew for one.
Our 45-minute cruises sail around the river loop of Shrewsbury. On the return part of the journey, our experienced skipper brings historical sites to life with live commentary. You’ll discover facts about the River Severn which make the town what it is today, gaining a perspective no other map of Shrewsbury can offer.
We also offer table service on every journey offering hot, cold and alcoholic drinks along with light snacks.
Tickets are available on board, via the tickets page, or by calling our booking office on 01743 369741. You are also able to purchase tickets from our agents including the Visitor Information Centre and Shrewsbury Castle.
Please note: tickets purchased at agents are tickets which are valid for any journey depending on availability if you would like to reserve a seat on a specific tour please call our booking office to reserve your seats.
We offer male and female toilets on board which are located in our lower deck.
We operate 7 days a week between 1st March till 31st October.
All of our cruises are 45 minutes long leaving Victoria Quay on the hour.
Sabrina Boat operates six daily cruises leaving at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.
