Sabrina Boat Terms & Conditions

Individual Bookings on Scheduled Boat Trips 11am – 4pm

Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking for each ticket.
• Sabrina Tours Ltd will reserve your seat on board once payment has been received.
• Seats cannot be reserved without full payment.

Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds

• All tickets are non-refundable from the point of purchase.
• Tickets may only be transferred at the discretion of Sabrina Tours Ltd and must be requested with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for weekday bookings and 48 hours’ notice for weekend bookings.

Weather, River Conditions and Operator Cancellations

• Weather and river conditions can change quickly.
• If sailing is not possible, tickets may either be transferred to an alternative date or a full refund will be issued via the original method of payment or place of purchase.
• This also applies if Sabrina Tours Ltd must cancel for other operational reasons, including (but not limited to) engine failure.

Food and Drink

• No outside food or drink may be brought on board.
• A fully stocked bar is available on board to purchase drinks and refreshments.

Passenger Behaviour and Safety

• All skippers have the authority to terminate a cruise before or during the trip if passenger behaviour poses a risk to:
  • Personal safety
  • Vessel or crew safety
  • Other river users
• No refund will be issued to passengers directly involved.
• A complimentary ticket for a future scheduled boat trip will be offered to other passengers on board.

Private Hire

Payment & Booking Confirmation

• A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all private hire bookings for groups of 35 or more passengers.
• The booking will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received.
• The booking organiser is responsible for payment of the full private hire/charter fee, regardless of guest attendance.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 21 days before departure.
• A refund of the balance will only be issued if Sabrina Tours Ltd cancels the event.

Due to the current rate of inflation, Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to amend pricing. You will be informed of any changes at the earliest opportunity. If revised pricing is no longer acceptable, you will be entitled to a full refund of monies paid.

If the final number of passengers falls below the minimum requirement of 35, Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to:

• Cancel the booking, or
• Apply a surcharge of £10 per passenger below the minimum number.

If the booking organiser cancels the event, the full deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellation by the Booking Organiser

• In all cases of cancellation by the booking organiser, the deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing, either by email or by recorded/registered post.
• If cancellation occurs within 21 days of departure, the organiser will be liable for the full charter fee and any additional costs incurred (e.g. entertainment).
• Sabrina Tours Ltd will attempt to secure an alternative charter; however, until this is achieved, the organiser remains responsible for the outstanding balance.

For daytime private hires (11:00am–5:00pm) only, the notice period is reduced to 7 days. In this instance, only the deposit will be forfeited, and any balance paid will be refunded.

Operator Cancellations & Safety

Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to refuse carriage of any individual and to terminate, vary, or cancel a cruise at any time.

We always endeavour to sail wherever possible; however, safety is paramount. If sailing is not possible:

• The boat may be used as a moored venue, and
• 25% of the hire charge will be refunded, and
• As a goodwill gesture, complimentary daytime cruise tickets will be issued to all guests for use at a later date.

All skippers and supervisors have full authority to terminate a cruise at any point if passenger behaviour poses a risk to:

• Personal safety
• The safety of the vessel or crew
• Other river users

If staff suspect or witness drug use, violent, or inappropriate behaviour, the cruise will be terminated immediately and the authorities will be informed. All members of the group involved will be blacklisted from future bookings with Sabrina Tours Ltd. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.

Security Deposit (Certain Events Only)

For private hires classed as:

• 18th or 21st birthdays
• Proms
• Public ticketed events

A £100 security deposit is required. This will be refunded after the event provided the following conditions are met:

1. No drugs on board
2. No underage drinking
3. No damage to property
4. No aggressive behaviour
5. No excessive cleaning required

Food must be purchased through Sabrina Tours Ltd for these events.

Food & Drink

• Under no circumstances may food or drink be brought on board unless booked through Sabrina Tours Ltd.
• The cruise will be terminated immediately if guests are found bringing or consuming their own food or alcohol, except where corkage or cake arrangements have been approved in advance.

Corkage

Guests may bring a maximum of three bottles of wine or champagne, subject to corkage fees:

• Wine: £12.50 per bottle
• Sparkling wine: £15.00 per bottle
• Champagne: £20.00 per bottle

This includes refrigeration, glassware, and service. Corkage must be arranged with the office prior to the event.
Soft drinks and spirits may not be brought on board.

Cake Cutting

If a food package is booked, organisers may bring a cake (including cupcakes or doughnuts) for celebratory events.
A £1.50 per person cake-cutting fee applies, which includes service, plates, and cutlery.

Entertainment

Sabrina Tours Ltd offers entertainment packages, including use of onboard equipment and playlists.

• DJ hire is available only through approved partners and must be booked alongside an entertainment package.
• Guests may not supply their own DJ due to technical and safety requirements.
• The organiser is responsible for all DJ hire costs.
• Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to refuse certain music genres due to residential sailing areas (including, but not limited to, hardcore drum and bass and house music).

Decorations

Most decorations are permitted within reason.

• Organisers must allow sufficient time for setup before guest arrival.
• If Sabrina staff are required to decorate, an additional £50 staffing fee will apply.
• All decorations must be removed on the night of the event or by 10:45am the following day.

The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Party poppers
• Feathers
• Glitter
• Confetti (including confetti balloons)

Failure to comply may result in charges for damage, materials, and labour.

Agreement

‘Sabrina Boat’ is hired for the agreed duration and price. If guests arrive late and delay departure, the boat will still return to the quayside at the scheduled end time.

Ashes Scattering

Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking for either the Sabrina Boat or the Picnic Boat.
• The booking organiser is responsible for payment of the full private hire/charter fee.
• A refund will only be issued if Sabrina Tours Ltd cancels the event.

Cancellation by the Booking Organiser

• In the event of cancellation by the booking organiser, all payments made are non-refundable.

Food & Drink

• For bookings on the Sabrina Boat, food and drink may only be consumed if purchased through Sabrina Tours Ltd.
• The trip will be terminated if guests are found bringing or consuming their own food or alcohol on board the Sabrina Boat.
• For bookings on the Picnic Boat, guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink on board.

Agreement

• ‘Sabrina Boat’ is booked for the agreed duration and agreed price.
• If late arrival of guests delays departure, the vessel will still return to the quayside at the scheduled end time, regardless of the actual cruise duration.
• Please ensure you have read and understood these terms and conditions prior to booking.

Entertainment

• Sabrina Tours Ltd offers optional entertainment packages, including use of onboard equipment and playlists.
• DJ hire is available only through approved partners, subject to availability, and must be booked in conjunction with an entertainment package.
• Guests or organisers may not supply their own DJ due to technical and safety requirements.
• The booking organiser is responsible for all DJ hire costs.
• Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to refuse certain music types or genres while sailing in residential areas, including (but not limited to) hardcore drum and bass or house music.

Decorations

• Most decorations are permitted within reason. Organisers should allow sufficient time to decorate prior to guest arrival.
• If Sabrina staff are required to assist with decoration, an additional £50 staffing fee will apply.

The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Party poppers
• Glitter
• Confetti (including confetti balloons)

These items can cause damage to furnishings and flooring. Failure to comply may result in charges for damage, materials, and labour costs.

Group Bookings on Scheduled Boat Trips 10AM – 4PM

Payment

• Full balance must be paid before the event in cleared funds, unless otherwise agreed by Sabrina Tours Ltd.

Booking Cancellation

• In the event of cancellation by the booking organiser, the deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellation notification must be sent by email or in writing (recorded or registered post).
• If the booking is cancelled within 5 working days of the trip, Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to request full payment.

Weather, River Conditions, and Safety

• Weather and river conditions can change rapidly. If Sabrina Tours Ltd must cancel due to poor weather, flooding, or engine failure, you will be offered either a full refund or an alternative date.
• All skippers have authority to terminate a cruise if passenger behaviour poses a risk to:
  • Personal safety
  • Safety of the vessel or crew
  • Other river users
• Sabrina Tours Ltd cannot accept liability if the customer or group organiser cancels.

Group Rates and Adjustments

• Two group rates are available:
  • 10+ group rate applies if your group drops below 20.
  • Full-price tickets apply if your group drops below 10.
• Changes to group numbers must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Numbers confirmed within 48 hours will be charged at the original booking rate.
  • Increases in group numbers after this point will be charged per head at the standard rate.
• Final numbers for partner bookings are required 5 working days prior; reductions after this date will still be charged.
• One free place is available for the organiser or driver but must be communicated at the time of final numbers confirmation.

Seating Arrangements

• Seating is arranged in tables of 4.
• Groups will share tables as required to fill seats.
  • For example, a group of 3 will share a table with a 4th guest.
• Whole tables cannot be reserved for fewer than 4 people to avoid displacing other paying passengers.

Boarding and Point of Contact

• Groups must arrive at the pontoon 15 minutes before their scheduled departure to allow timely boarding.
• Boats operate on an hourly schedule. Late arrivals may result in the boat departing without the group, and charges for booked seats will still apply.
• Groups must provide a point of contact and final numbers 5 working days prior to the trip.

Themed Evening Events and Cruises

Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking for each ticket.
• Private hire is available for 35 or more passengers.

Booking Cancellation

• All tickets are non-refundable at any stage prior to the event or cruise.
• If the booking organiser wishes to reduce numbers or cancel tickets, Sabrina Tours Ltd will attempt to resell those tickets. A full refund will be issued if the tickets are successfully resold before the event.

Weather, River Conditions, and Safety

• Weather and river conditions can change rapidly. If sailing is not possible:
  • The event may proceed as a moored-up venue, and
  • Complimentary tickets will be issued to all passengers for one of our scheduled day trips.
• If cancellation is due to operational reasons (e.g., engine failure) rather than an act of God, a full refund will be offered.
• If over 35 passengers wish to proceed with the evening, a complimentary day trip ticket will be issued to each guest.
• All skippers have authority to terminate a cruise if passenger behaviour poses a risk to:
  • Personal safety
  • Vessel or crew safety
  • Other river users
• If staff suspect or witness drug use, violent, or inappropriate behaviour, the cruise will be terminated immediately, authorities will be notified, and all members of the hire will be blacklisted from future trips on the Sabrina.

Decorations and Prohibited Items

• The following items are strictly prohibited:
  • Party poppers
  • Glitter
  • Confetti (including confetti-filled balloons)
• These items can cause damage to furniture and flooring. Failure to comply may result in charges for materials, labour, and repairs.

Picnic Boat Bookings

Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• No discounts are available for Picnic Boat bookings, regardless of group size.
• All other terms outlined in the general Sabrina Tours Ltd terms (including safety, behaviour, and cancellation) also apply to Picnic Boat bookings.

Booking Cancellation

• All bookings are non-refundable.
• Cancellation must be communicated by email or in writing (recorded or registered post).
• If cancellation occurs within 21 days of the scheduled cruise, the booking organiser is responsible for the full charter fee and any associated costs (e.g., entertainment).
• Sabrina Tours Ltd will attempt to secure an alternative charter; however, until this is obtained, the organiser remains liable for the balance of the hire.

Operator Rights & Safety

• Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to:
  • Refuse carriage of any individual
  • Terminate or vary the cruise for any reason
• While every effort is made to sail as scheduled, safety is paramount.
• If sailing is not possible, the boat may be used as a moored venue, and 25% of the hire charge will be refunded.
• As a goodwill gesture, complimentary daytime cruise tickets will be offered to all guests once conditions improve.

• All skippers have the authority to terminate a cruise if passenger behaviour poses a risk to:
  • Personal safety
  • Vessel or crew safety
  • Other river users
• If staff suspect or witness drug use, violent, or inappropriate behaviour, the cruise will be terminated immediately, authorities will be notified, and all members of the hire will be blacklisted from future Sabrina Tours trips.

Season Tickets

Usage

• Your season ticket allows unlimited trips once per week throughout the season.
• You may turn up on the day without pre-booking, subject to seat availability. A season ticket does not guarantee a seat if a trip is already fully booked.
• You may also reserve a place over the phone or at the office. Reservations can be made once per week per ticket to ensure fair access for one-time visitors during peak season.

Eligible Trips

• Season tickets can be used for any daily cruise and Tuesday evening cruises.
• Day Trips run daily from 11:00am to 4:00pm, departing on the hour, 7 days a week during the season.

Ticket Restrictions

• Season tickets are non-transferable and cannot be used for another person.
• They are exclusive to the person named on the ticket. Photo ID may be requested when using your season ticket.

Safety & Compliance

• Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to rescind a season ticket if:
  • Any terms are violated
  • The safety of staff or passengers is compromised

Gift Vouchers

Validity

• Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Vouchers are digital only; no physical copy will be issued.
• Vouchers can be redeemed online or at the Sabrina Tours Ltd office.

Booking

• All vouchers must be pre-booked.
• Seat availability is not guaranteed if a voucher is not pre-booked.
• Any partnership or third-party vouchers also require pre-booking to guarantee the experience.

Restrictions

• Vouchers are non-refundable.
• If you wish to use a voucher for a different Sabrina experience, contact our office at info@sabrinaboat.co.uk. Please note that acceptance for an alternative experience is not guaranteed.
• Vouchers cannot be resold.
