Great boat trip around the horseshoe river Severn. We learnt lots of facts about the area and history, including that Charles Dickens studied newts in the park here! Great table service and speedy staff. Very funny commentary and adequate space. Loved it.
We enjoyed the trip down the Severn and back, between the Welsh and English bridges, the skipper gave us a good commentary and we had a nice cuppa.
We booked in advance (definitely recommended if you want to sit on the upper deck) and had a lovely defined seat. The service was extremely efficient- orders taken before setting off and served in lovely crockery and pots of tea and coffee soon after departing. The boat heads towards the Castle and then returns with an interesting commentary of the places of interest. Highly recommended
All-round lovely evening to promote the launch of a book of poetry about Shrewsbury – the Launch on the Launch! Beautiful views and fantastic, friendly crew who made sure everything ran smoothly. Just perfect, and highly recommended ?
