Individual Bookings on Scheduled Boat Trips 11am – 4pm

Payment – Full payment is required at the time of the booking for each ticket required. Sabrina Tours will reserve your seat on-board once payment has been received. It is not possible to reserve seats without full payment.

Booking Cancellations, transfers and refunds – All tickets are non-refundable from the point of purchase. Tickets can only be transferred at our discretion and with at least 24 hours’ notice for weekday bookings and 48 hours for weekend bookings.

Weather and River conditions can change very quickly and in the event of not being able to sail, tickets can either be transferred to another date or a full refund can be offered via the method of payment or place of purchase. This also applies to other reasons for Sabrina Tours Ltd having to cancel such as engine failure.

All our skippers have the authority to terminate any cruise before or during the scheduled cruise if the behaviour of passengers poses any risk to their own safety, the safety of the vessel, or other river users. No refund will be issued to anyone directly involved, however, a complimentary ticket for other passengers will be offered for another scheduled boat trip.

Private Hire

Payment – 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking for groups of 35 or more. Due to the current rate of inflation, Sabrina Boat reserves the right to make changes to it’s pricing structure at any time, you will be informed of these changes at the earliest opportunity, if these prices are no longer acceptable for you, you are entitled to a full refund. If for any reason the total number of passengers falls below the minimum number required to hire the boat, Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking, or the booking organiser will be required to pay a surcharge of £10 per number under 35. In the circumstances of the booking organiser cancelling the full deposit will be lost. The booking will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit. The booking organiser is responsible for the whole of the private hire fee/charter fee. The balance must be paid to us not later than 21 days before departure. A refund on this balance will only be issued if Sabrina Tours Ltd has cancelled the event. The notice period of cancellation of private hire during the day (11am and 5pm) is reduced to 7 days, in this situation, only the deposit will be lost, and the balance will be refunded if paid.

If your private hire falls under the category of a 18th / 21st birthday, prom or public selling event, Sabrina Boat requires a security deposit of £100. This will be refunded after your event if the following rules are kept:

  1. No drugs on board
  2. No underage drinking
  3. No property damaged
  4. No aggressive behaviour
  5. No excessive clean up from your hire

Food must also be purchased with the above events.

If the booking organiser should cancel the booking you must notify Sabrina Tours Ltd by email or in writing, using recorded or registered post. Should cancellation be within the 21 day period, you will be responsible for the whole amount of the charter fee and any other costs i.e. entertainment. Sabrina Tours Ltd will endeavour to obtain another charter for the boat but until this is obtained you will remain responsible for the balance of the hire. Sabrina Tours Ltd reserves the right to refuse carriage of anyone and the right to terminate or vary the cruise for whatever reason. We always endeavour to sail whenever possible, however, safety is paramount and if we cannot sail, you will be able to use the boat as a moored venue and we will refund 25% of the hire charge. As a goodwill gesture, we will provide complimentary tickets for all guests to join us on a daytime cruise when the conditions have improved. All our skippers and supervisors have the authority to terminate your cruise at any point if the behaviour of passengers poses any risk to their own safety, the safety of the vessel or other river users. If the staff have a suspicion of drug taking, witness drug taking or experience any violent or inappropriate behaviour, our skippers have the authority to cancel your evening and the authorities will be waiting informed. All members of the hire will then be blacklisted from any trips on the Sabrina in the future.

Food & Drink – Under no circumstances may food or drink be brought on-board other than what has been booked through Sabrina Tours Ltd. The trip will be terminated if anyone is found bringing or consuming their own alcohol or food on board. Please see below for corkage and cake exceptions.

Corkage – We offer a full wine menu for you to choose from but if for any reason you would like to bring your own wine or champagne on board there is a corkage charge, and this is limited to no more than 3 bottles. Wine is charged at £12.50 per bottle, sparkling wine at £15.00 per bottle and Champagne at £20.00 per bottle. This charge would include refrigeration, glassware, and service. Please contact our office prior to your event to arrange this. Soft drinks and spirits are not allowed to be brought onboard.

Agreement – ‘Sabrina Boat’ is booked for the agreed duration at the agreed price. If late guests delay the departure of your cruise, the boat will return to the quayside at the scheduled time, regardless of the actual cruise time. Please read the terms and conditions of hire above, before signing this booking form, once signed please return it with your non-refundable deposit of 25% to secure your booking. Your booking and date cannot be confirmed until the deposit has been received, along with this booking form and signed terms and conditions.

Cake cutting – Sabrina Tours Ltd can offer desserts as one of our food package options. If you (the organiser) alternatively wishes to bring a cake onboard, including cupcakes and doughnuts, for celebration purposes such as a birthday or wedding event, Sabrina Tours Ltd will accommodate this at the cost of £1.50 per person, which will include cutting and service using our plates and cutlery. Bringing a cake onboard is only allowed in conjunction with ordering a food package through Sabrina.

Entertainment – Sabrina Tours Ltd offers entertainment packages which allows use of our equipment and playlists for a cost. DJ Hire is also possible but is solely subject to the availability of our approved DJ partners and can only be done in conjunction with one of our entertainment packages. We do not allow guests or organisers to supply their own DJ. This is due to a number of factors including technical restraints of operating on limited power when sailing and PAT tested and checked DJ’s. Sabrina has a list of approved DJ’s we work with and the organiser is responsible for covering the full cost of the DJ hire on top of the entertainment package chosen. Sabrina Tours Ltd also reserves the right to refuse certain types or genres of music from being played as we sail in residential areas. This inlcudes music genres such as Hardcore drum and bass or House music.

Decorations – Sabrina boat is happy to allow the use of most decorations within reason. Please see below for decoration types we do not allow. We would ask that the organiser factors in time to come and set them up before the booked arrival time. If you require Sabrina Staff to decorate for you, we will require an additional member of staff so would charge an additional £50.00 fee for this. All decorations must be taken on the night or by 10:45am the next day.

We DO NOT allow the use of party poppers, feathers glitter or confetti, even in balloons. They can cause damage to furniture and floors to the point where we will end up having to sand our floors and re-paint them. Please be aware that if this rule not adhered to, Sabrina Tours reserves the right to charge for damages, materials and labour costs incurred.

Ashes Scattering

Payment – Full payment is due upon booking the Sabrina Boat or the Picnic Boat.  The booking organiser is responsible for the whole of the private hire fee/charter fee. A refund on this balance will only be issued if Sabrina Tours Ltd has cancelled the event.

Booking Cancellation – In the circumstances of the booking organiser cancelling the full payment will be lost.

Food & Drink – Under no circumstances may food or drink be brought on-board the Sabrina Boat, other than what has been booked through Sabrina Tours Ltd. The trip will be terminated if anyone is found bringing or consuming their own alcohol or food on board. If you are booking the Picnic Boat, you are more than welcome to bring your own food and drink on-board.

Group Bookings on Scheduled Boat Trips 10AM – 4PM

Payment – Full balance is payable before the event in cleared funds only, unless stated otherwise by Sabrina Tours Ltd.

Booking Cancellation – In all cases of cancellation from the booking organiser the deposit is forfeited. If the booking organiser should cancel the booking notification should be by email or in writing, using recorded or registered post. If the booking is cancelled within 5 working days, Sabrina Tours Ltd. reserve the right to request full payment. Safety is paramount. Weather and River conditions can change very quickly and, in the event, Sabrina Tours Ltd have to cancel the trip a full refund or an alternative date will be offered. All our skippers have the authority to terminate any cruise before the scheduled time if the behaviour of passengers poses any risk to their own safety, the safety of the vessel or other river users.

Poor weather conditions, flooding, or engine failure – River conditions can change very quickly and in the rare event that severe flooding or engine failure prevents us from operating we have to cancel the trip giving you as much notice as possible with a full refund or an alternative date. We cannot accept liability for cancellation in the instance of the customer or group organiser should cancel.

We have 2 group rates available, if your group drops below 20 you will be charged for our 10+ group rate. If your group drops below 10 you will be charged for full price day trip tickets. Please be aware that we cannot adjust your invoice total with less than 48 hours’ notice. This means you will be charged at the amount of people booked from 48 hours before your departure date, unless this number rises in which case we will charge per head at the standard rate. If the number of passengers drops after the 5 working day period prior to your cruise, you will still be charged for the number of places that were booked. If you have a partner booking with us, final numbers are required 5 working days prior and cannot be reduced. If numbers do decrease, you will be invoiced on the numbers you provided previously. We offer 1 free placement for either the organiser or driver, but this must be communicated to us in advance of the cruise date with the final numbers confirmation.

Our seating arrangement consists of tables of 4. Groups attending are advised that the number of seats allocated is for the exact amount of people booked. They have not booked whole tables for less than 4 people per table and will be required to share with each other to fill their allocated seats. Another way to understand this is that if there are 3 people who want to sit together, they will be required to share with a 4th person. They will not get the table to themselves as this would cause the rest of the group to spill onto other tables for other passengers, therefore taking seats that have not been paid for.

All groups are required to be at the Pontoon ready to board for quarter to the hour they are due to sail so that we can leave on schedule. Our boats run on an hourly schedule so if they do not make it on time, the boat will have to leave without them and the places they booked will still be charged for.

All groups are required to provide a point of contact for the day and final numbers of the group within 5 working days of the scheduled trip.

Themed Evening Events and Cruises

Payment – Full payment is required at the time of the booking for each ticket required. Private hire is available for 35 or more persons.

Booking Cancellation – In all cases of cancellation these tickets are non-refundable at any stage leading up to the event or cruise. If the booking organiser wishes to reduce numbers or cancel the tickets purchased, Sabrina Tours Ltd will try and resell those tickets, a full refund can be issued if those tickets are issued are resold before the event.

Weather and River conditions can change very quickly and in the event of not being able to sail the event will go ahead as a moored up venue. In this situation, a complimentary ticket for all passengers will be issued on the evening for one of our scheduled day trips. If the reason for Sabrina Tours Ltd having to cancel is not an act of god, for example, engine failure, then a full refund will be offered. If over 35 passengers decide they would like the evening to go ahead, then a complimentary ticket for one of our day trips will be issued. All our skippers have the authority to terminate any cruise before the scheduled time if the behaviour of passengers poses any risk to their own safety, the safety of the vessel or other river users. If the staff have an suspicious of drug taking, witness drug taking or experience any violent or inappropriate behaviour, our skippers have the authority to cancel your evening and the authorities will be waiting at the top of the pontoon. All members of the hire will then be black listed from any trips on the Sabrina in the future.

All other terms set out above will be enforced when booking the Picnic boat also.

Season Tickets

Your Season ticket can be used for unlimited trips (once a week) throughout the season. This means you can turn up without pre-booking and come aboard as much as you like!

Turning up for a trip on the day without pre-booking is subject to availability i.e. a season ticket does not guarantee you a seat on a trip if it has already been fully booked for instance.

You are welcome to book yourself a place for a trip with us over the phone or in the office but please be aware that you may only make a reservation for a specific trip once per week to use your season ticket against. This is to ensure that one-time visitors also have a fair chance to experience a cruise during peak season.

Your ticket can be used for any of our daily cruises and with our Tuesday evening cruises. Our Day Trips run every day from 11am to 4pm on the hour, 7 days a week during the season.

Season tickets are not interchangeable and CANNOT be used to cover someone else’s fare. They are exclusive to the person who is named on the ticket. Photo ID may be requested alongside any use of your season ticket.

We reserve the right to rescind your season ticket should we believe that any terms are not being adhered to or the safety of any of our crew is brought into question.

Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. When purchasing a voucher you will not receive a physical copy. The vouchers can be redeemed online or in the Sabrina office. Vouchers MUST be pre-booked, there is no guarantee of a seat on the boat if not pre-booked. Any partnership gift vouchers will not receive the experience unless pre-booked.

Vouchers are non-refundable, if you would like to put your voucher towards a different Sabrina experience contact the office team on info@sabrinaboat.co.uk. However, it is not guaranteed that you can use the voucher towards a different experience. You are not able to re-sell the vouchers.
